  • M. Com: University of the Punjab, with specialization in Advanced Accounting and Cost Accounting (1959). Ranked No. 2 in order of merit with above 60% marks,
  • MBA (with Thesis): American University of Beirut, Lebanon (with Charter from State of New York, USA) with emphasis on Accounting Theory, Auditing, Controllership, Financial Analysis, Managerial Economics, Comparative Management, Portfolio Management and Quantitative Methods (1970). This University was granted accreditation in the United States in 2004 from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, USA.
  • LLB: With distinction in a specialized field of Law, University of the Punjab, Lahore (1976).
  • Ph.D: From Los Angles, Califorinia, USA with doctoral dessertation on "Survey and Analysis of Financial Disclosure in Corporate Sector for Public Use; A Case Study from Pakistan"(1981).

  • Cost & Management Accountant (FCMA) from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (1971).
  • Attended special course in "Project Development :Industry and Infrastructure" at the United Nations Asian Institute of Economic Development and Planning, Bangkok and was inscribed as its Fellow (1971).
  • Certificate in teaching in Project Analysis from the Economic Development Institute of World Bank, Washington D.C (1979), USA.

  1. Has 51 years experience (43 years teaching at graduate, post - -graduate and doctoral level in University and 8 years in corporate world.
  2. Served in all caders in university of punjab service from 1965 to 1996. Finally retired as Pro Vice Chancellor. Served as founder Director of the second business school in Pakistan and the first one in the province of Punjab. After retirement, served for 7 years in private sector business schools and since Feb 10,2003 serving as Founder Principal Hailey College of Banking and Finance, 5th constituent college of the university of Punjab, Lahore where new and innovative programs in the area of Banking and Finance, International Trade, Insurance and Risk Management, vocational courses in Agricultural Credit Analysis Techniques are being taught.Has taught courses in Commerce, Accounting, Corporate, Mercantile and Industrial Laws, Taxation, Economics, Production and Operations Management, Marketing, Strategic Management, Market Research, Auditing, Research Methodology, Managerial Polices, Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis, Management Consulting, Consumer Behavior and Comparative Management.
